TATTOO AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS:
{SVFT Recommends following these instructions to properly heal your tattoo}

- After about an hour, remove the bandage and gently wash the site with warm water and antibacterial soap.

- Apply a VERY THIN layer of aquaphor (or A&D Ointment) atleast 3 times a day for the first 5-7 days.  After the first week, you may switch to using an unscented lotion on the tattoo.  KEEP THE SKIN MOISTURIZED FOR A FULL 2 WEEKS.

- Stay out of direct sunlight and tanning booths until your tattoo is healed, at the very least 14 days (2 weeks).  Extreme sun (natural or artificial) CAN and WILL fade your tattoo.  This can be minimized by using a sunscreen of atleast SPF40 or higher.

- Do NOT soak your tattoo in a hot tub, sauna, jacuzzi or go swimming while your new tattoo is healing.  Your tattoo is an open wound until it is fully healed, so please treat it like one.  SHOWERS ARE FINE THOUGH #StayClean

- Do NOT rub or pick the treated area while it is healing, loss of color and/or infection could occur to the tattooed area.

- Your tattoo should heal within 2-3 weeks.  Consult your physician if any signs of infection [ such as redness, swelling, pain or discharge of pus ] occurs at the tattooed site.
